Sarah selling herself for charity on eBay
No bids yet for $25K/minimum "private" dinner for charity...maybe it's because Todd's going to be there, too.

Sounds like the vetting on this is more thorough than McCain 2008:

Dinner shall last no more than four hours, but could be less, in the sole discretion of Sarah Palin.* Governor Palin reserves the right to refuse dinner with a winning bidder if, in her sole discretion, the winning bidder is not a suitable bidder based on her subjective standards of suitability, professionalism, background and other factors. In the event the high bidder is rejected for this reason, the high bidder's bid will be refunded, if paid, and the next highest bidder shall be notified, and thereafter, until a suitable match is determined.

1. She's going to end up going to dinner
with some rich pervert who will ask at the end if he can have her shoes and a lock of her hair "for his scrapbook".

2. I'd bid $1.98 but only on the condition that she keeps her mouth shut other than to eat.
$1.98 for a meal isn't bad. Besides, half-way through the meal, she would quit.

4. But that's because she's a MAVERICK!
Not because she's a worthless human being incapable of governing a state with more caribou than people!

7. Yeah, well she was working on reversing that.
Takes a LOT of flight time to gun the damn things down.

11. 'Governor' Palin?
I don't think so. Quitter Palin is more appropriate.

12. Did you see Keith Olbermann last night?
He was going to bid on it, but there's a requirement to be vetted in some way, and he indicated he'd follow up off the air. If he could possibly do the bid anonymously, or under another name, he has the deep pockets to win. Of course, she'd reject him.
