Facebook Status Campaign for Healthcare - MAKE IT VIRAL!
This was posted on several friends' profiles today:

"No one should die because they cannot afford health care, and no one should go broke because they get sick. If you agree, please post this as your status for the rest of the day."

After I posted it on mine, several more friends followed. Not sure who else has seen this yet, but it wouldn't hurt to participate, if you're on Facebook. :shrug:

And so many of them have RW friends who chime in with some bullshit. I've been sparring with them all day. I hope my friends don't hate me for fighting with their friends who are not my friends!

Or in my case, one friend who is a homophobe. He was the same way when we were kids, but I had forgotten about it.

Luckily, most of my friends are progressive, so the worst of it was when the discussion devolved into a "No one should die because they cannot afford a Mono Beatles Box, and no one should go broke because they bought both the Mono & Stereo versions" type music discussion. Activism can be fun sometimes.
