A campaign of intimidation?
Edited on Wed Sep-02-09 07:40 PM by mix
Obama is brilliant on the stump and a great campaigner. These are the skills that will get healthcare reform passed.

Could the right's current campaign of fear, anxiety and intimidation, aided by the corporate media's legitimation of the most scurrilous lies, have an overall purpose of keeping the President away from the public, to keep him from doing what he does best? The Medico-Industrial complex has shown a disturbing willingness to reject rational-democratic discourse in favor of confrontation, threats, and violence already.

I am deeply troubled, as I am sure many of you are, by the rise of verbal, symbolic, and actual violence, linked to racist fever dreams, throughout our political discourse.
