OMG, I have to update you on the ventriloquist, Bible guy....

Last week I posted on a religious-oriented thread about a strange thing I saw last week.

I was sitting at a fairly busy intersection (Raleigh, NC) and noticed a man wearing a placard on his back. I was stunned to see when he turned around that he was holding a ventriloquist dummy (they ALWAYS creep me out). He just walked up and down the road talking through this dummy (was afraid to roll down my window to hear what he was saying - actually my daughter was afraid. lol).

I didn't have time (nor my glasses) in order to read what the placard said, but I saw enough of it that I assumed it was the typical accept-Jesus-as-your-savior-or-you're-going-to-hell stuff.

Well, he was there again yesterday. And I finally got to read the entire placard.

Yes, it quoted the bible, but the gist of the message was that BUSH IS SATAN !!! To accept Jesus because Satan is here now, controlling this country.

I couldn't believe it. It was just very, very weird. Needless to say, I felt much more comfortable with the ventriloquist and the placard-dude.

I view them all as one entity - the personification of everything that can be labeled as "evil."



If I had to choose, however, it would be Rove or Cheney - I can't decide between the two as to who is worse.

Evil yes, but even the entire bundle of evil isn't smart enough to equate Satan. Can't imagine Jesus needing an army to defeat that bunch of cowards.
