1. Every once in awhile we can smell it here in the Central Valley
For the last several days I kept looking to see which of my neighbors was cold enough in our 100 degree weather to need a fireplace going.

6. Probably the urine-scented cologne I smell on so many people.

Others wear the chemical-factory-scented cologne. Both are noxious.

3. I definitely do not miss all of that
Hope you are safe where you are and can breathe easy. It makes me sad to know the Angeles NF is burning again. I know it's inevitable but I loved hiking there and my sister and b-i-l lived in Pasadena for years.

8. do you know the air quality for north pasadena by san marino?
my dad lives there, and he always minimizes any hazard to himself, and as he is 'getting up there' i would love to know.

12. I'm on the Pasadena, San Marino border
and can tell you it's pretty bad (air quality)
Hope your Dad has the good sense to stay inside as it's well over 100 degrees outside and when you throw in the ash and soot it's misery.

:hi:

Thankfully, nothing going on in South OC. Just temperatures hitting 108F...111F with the heat index.
