In this time of sadness when everyone should pause and say a prayer --- the Palinites are saying the most nasty things on the Sarah Palin FB page regarding Senator Kennedy.

Sarah Palin wrote a two sentence condolence note on her FB page and many of the people commenting on the note are down-right disgraceful, hateful, and disrespectful. I am not too surprised that they are showing their true colors, but it is stomach turning!

At the moment there are over 500 comments and there are many MANY that are disgusting, disgraceful, hateful, disrespectful and the Palin team isn't deleting them.

14. Disgusting, and revealing

The few "decent" comments there are from Palinites praising Palin on her virtue and compassion, but the writers show little compassion of their own.

In addition to being pure hateful vitriol, these comments reveal the underlying motivations for their support of Palin. Here's a thought from one poster:

"I would elect to have Jesus Christ as King. Some day we may come to make that choice when "We the people" really feel that we need Him to rule ..."
