Why do repugnantcans hate Jesus?
Matthew chapter 25 basically says 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these

brothers of mine, you did for me, and whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not

do for me.' Repugnantcans at these town hall meetings and pretty much anywhere they open up their

maws to speak have the attitude, 'I've got mine, f*ck everyone else.' Even more unlike Jesus, is the

repugnantcan proclivity to defend the rich and powerful over the poor and defenseless. Wonder what

the repugnantcan bible looks like?

3. Their claims to Christianity are racist, not sincere
It's code for "white." When they say this is a Christian nation and you challenge them that a Christian nation would be rather socialist, they don't answer. The nation, they say was founded on "Christian principles." What they really mean was that it was founded by white men. They just know not to say it out loud - or to say "European" (Well they don't like them now either, anyway). The only word left is the general historical religion of Europe.

4. They take their cues from the Old Testament - mostly Leviticus
, cherry-pick a few misquotes from the Synoptic Gospels and John, then go wild with Paul and Revelations.

Their basic mantra is "I wanna go to heaven".

Unfortunately, faith without works is dead.

5. Jesus was a pacifist liberal who believed in forgiveness
Basically Jesus' character was everything they hate.

6. Great book if your interested

http://www.amazon.com/American-Savior-Novel-Divine-Politics/dp/1565126076/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1251222611&sr=1-3

You'll like it, unless you're a hypocritical evangelical or Rush Limbaugh (who will need to learn to turn the other cheek while reading). :>)
