| Why is Joe Lieberman still chairman of anything? |
His vote is meaningless for our majority, he can't be counted on as a vote toward 60, he campaigned for McCain, he isn't supported by Democrats in his own state and he's a tool. Please, can someone help me out here?

| 8. Arlen Specter, who is actually a Democrat, at least in name |
has more seniority than the junior douchebag from Connecticut, yet was stripped of his seniority on committees when he became a Democrat. Lieberman keeps his even though he is no longer a Democrat. Obviously, there is nothing keeping our leadership from similarly stripping Joe of his seniority.

However he didn't did he?

he was stripped after he began caucusing with us, because he joked about wanting Norm Coleman to win in Minnesota. Read a paper.

If he began caucusing with the Repubs he'd lose his assignments.

| 19. his seniority could be deemed meaningless because he's not a democrat |
he's an independent, so his seniority is at the discretion of the ACTUAL democrats in the senate.

I totally understood it when we needed him to gain a majority. And even that the President wanted to be magnanimous. I suppose that conciliatory tone is still the reason, but exactly where is the tipping point?

Lieberman should have been given the chair on the Subcommittee of Teen Acne and had his office moved to the boiler room of the Capitol.
THEN we'd have more a leash on the Blue Dogs.

| 21. He'll just keep creating parties for himself so that no one can challenge him |
The good people and fine Democrats of Connecticut already ran this douchebag out on a rail in the primary, but he circumvented the rules by creating the "Connecticut for Lieberman" party or some such fuckery so that he could still show up at the polls and get his scumbag friends to buy him an election win.
I'm afraid the only way Connecticut will get rid of this imp is to have Superman trick him into saying his name backwards.
