Fox News Poll Results
http://www.pensitoreview.com/2009/08/19/poll-huge-majorities-of-fox-viewers-duped-by-gop-lies/

Results as alarmingly bad as these would cause a panic at a real news organization.
72 percent believe undocumented residents will be covered
79 percent believe they will lead to a government takeover
69 percent believe abortions will be covered
75 percent believe there will be “death panels”
All of these lies have been refuted umpteen times by nonpartisan sources, including FactCheck.org. - http://www.factcheck.org/2009/08/seven-falsehoods-about-health-care/
Results as alarmingly bad as these would cause a panic at a real news organization. Senior managers’ jobs would be in jeopardy, and the taint of having worked for a news organization so irredeemably incompetent would discredit everyone involved.

But no heads will roll at Fox. In fact, there may be raises — because the real indictment here is that these results expose Fox for what it is really is: a propaganda outlet for the Republican Party and the corporate interests that own it.

The results of these polls are a damning indictment of Fox News any way you slice it.

9. Not just uninformed, misinformed.
Intentionally misinformed. It's why I no longer speak to my father. How can I reason with a person if the only news source they trust is irrefutably full of shit?

18. Same here.
When I am talking to a person who starts in on this shit I say to them you watch fox noise don't you and when they say why yes, yes I do, I then say well I can't discuss this with you cause you have the wrong facts and then either change the subject or change who I am talking to by leaving them there by themselves and myself moving on.

4. Who cares?
Not to sound glib, but we all know that fixed only polls right wingers, or wingers are usually the ones watching, so they overwhelmingly respond. It does give a good perspective of how many people out there believe lies. And you are right, it would cayse panic anywhere else, but faux eats this shit up with a big shit-smeared grin and takes it as proof that they are right. The scary thing is that it confirms in the minds of the stupid, that they are right by believing lies, and it never gets better, which is why the country is basically in a civil war right now, only with words and ideas, not bullets....... yet.

6. Which is why anyone who watches FOX should...
Never be trusted to make important decisions or have a say in important decisions... Because they are too stupid and have been filled with propaganda.

8. K & R
More Americans must be made aware of the active campaign on FOX News to lie and deceive it's viewers. These are not mistakes or lazy reporting. FOX News is a propaganda outlet.

10. I tried to watch "Hannity" last night.
I could only take about five minutes. Two anecdotes shown to "confirm" the "universal healthcare NIGHTMARE".

"If I had to rely on socialized healthcare, I would have DIED!"

Nothing but fear mongering. It is the main culprit behind the stupidity that runs rampant today.

17. And they benefit because their viewers do not research the accusations..
viewers of faux are not literate people. They have to be read too and faux is more than happy to do that.

15. This was a poll on the viewers of Faux...
and what they "believe" based on what faux says. I am not surprised by it at all, I expect people who watch faux to be detached from reality.

faux has a striking resemblance to The Mouth in the V for Vendetta book/film.
