And the guy with the gun at the Presidential Town Hall yesterday got rewarded with an interview by Chris Matthews on Hardball yesterday. We cuff kids and glorify gun toters at Presidential events.

What's wrong with this picture.

As an aside - yesterday evening I saw a commercial for Meier's stores 'back to school' sale. They showed a girl loading her backpack with school supplies and getting on a school bus - she put scissors (and they were mentioned in the ad) in her pack.

for school... that they have that listed as a school supply... i think every year since kindergarten. she is going into 5th.

My kid has to have scissors for kindergarten, but they specify blunt-tip, Fiskars, and the length. The only thing they leave out is the color of the plastic handle.
