39. How can we take that photo to a liberal news organization and ask him to step forward with
his story?

Maybe Keith Olbermann would be willing to do that. Someone must know who the guy is and where the tattered flag has been.

Edited on Sun Jan-28-07 01:54 AM by Lex

There were so many amazing and moving things today and I only got a picture of a miniscule percentage of them.

For instance, when we were marching I was holding a huge Peace flag and there was a guy standing on the sidewalk and his sign said he was a Veteran For Peace--and he had a very serious look on his face. He saw my big Peace flag and then looked me in the eye. I gave him the thumbs up. He smiled and gave me the the thumbsup back. It was quite a moment for me. I still have no idea what he was thinking about at that moment.

interviewed. There must be someone who knows this man and where he got his tattered flag.

To the members of the Washington press corps:

DO YOU KNOW THIS MAN WHO ATTENDED THE PEACE MARCH CARRYING HIS TATTERED FLAG? WE WANT TO KNOW HIS STORY.

47. Yeah, that is an excellent piece of work
It had to have taken thousands of hours of work by those who put it together, and the result is poignant indeed. Sad, obviously, but at the same time it has the potential to make people realize how important it is to stand up and be counted as being opposed to war.

Beautifully done.

44. See, if you are in the crowd itself, you can't get a good shot
of the overall crowd, which stretched for many, many, many blocks.

Maybe some others were able to get better shots of the overall amount of people. If there are some who got up way high, then the size of the crowd would be more visible.
