I was completely shocked just to see a complete scare tactic of a commercial on my tv about 2 seconds ago. I live in L.A. and figured we were above the health care nonsense but i guess not. 60plus.org comes saying how seniors are going to get screwed by government health care and that medicare will get cut by $500 million...so what is it 60 plus? your against government healthcare but you want medicare????? ooooo the irony of that statement. I also enjoyed all of the citations in the clip was the washington post and wall street journal...

4. 60plus.org

I'm new here, having found this group after seeing the same 60plus.org commercial. A quick Google search to find out who was behind the group and not surprisingly I found the following information: http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=60_Plus_Association So apparently it's the pharmaceutical companies along with a right-wing direct mail firm. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take my Geritol to support the drug companies and aid in the aches and pains of my rapidly deteriorating 50 plus body. I will also write my will so that when it's my turn to stand before the government death panel, I will be prepared for my hanging or whatever fate the right wing loonies think health care reform will bring to me.

6. Offensive TV Commercial

I was completely offended by the TV commercial which is anti health care reform. It is filled with scare tactics which have no basis in fact. It is horrible. How do these guys get away with this. This is worse than the presidential campaign. So who is it that benefits if reform fails? The insurance companies who now do everything they can to deny claims. Where was the outrage when managed care and HMO came into being?
