Have you noticed that there is a spate of GOOD NEWS from the Obama admin? Just a few headlines...
DUers, there are some very hopeful headlines just now. I think a bunch of Bush-Cheney-Rove crap we've been hoping for/working for/praying for to be over is now starting to be rectified/legally dealt with/treated as crimes/exposed to the harsh light of day... Campaign promises are beginning to be kept....

Do you see what I see? I don't know about you, but I've been so accustomed to feeling frightened, angry, and depressed about my country that it took until after midnight before all these various headers FROM JUST TODAY's DU (plus I just went looking for some other recent ones) coalesced in my mind like a big neon sign: Our troubles are far from over, but Obama and his administration could actually pull this off.

My jury is still out debating whether the Obama admin will just throw us enough bones to maintain an untenable status quo, or whether we'll see him lead an actual overhaul of a system that is rotted to the core.

Either way, major shifts are coming anyhow. Thass my take.

Maybe this should be a regular feature. Have someone compile a list of links to the good news. We focus so much on the negative news, because there was so much of it for eight years under bush.

Think about it, nothing good happened during BushCo, NOTHING.

There was a time when I assumed we wouldn't see "good news" ever again.
