essentially reject technology not because of religiosity, but essentially they weigh the perceived pros and cons carefully before accepting change. Electric milking machines have been in use in Amish Dairies for a generation or more.
The Amish farm is a great example of sustainable agriculture and what agriculture can be when the farmer is wise enough to avoid bank debt pretty much at all costs.
