Palin: Obama’s health plan is ‘downright evil’
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32340009/ns/politics-white_... /

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin called President Barack Obama's health plan "downright evil" Friday in her first online comments since leaving office, saying in a Facebook posting that he would create a "death panel" that would deny care to the neediest Americans.

"The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care," the former Republican vice presidential candidate wrote.

"Such a system is downright evil," Palin wrote on her page, which has nearly 700,000 supporters. She encouraged her supporters to be engaged in the debate.

What is she talking about????

3. Still, it needs to be addressed
Regardless of the number of times it has been posted, we need to remain cognizant of the fact that some proportion of society thinks Sarah Palin is the savior of their ideology. If it doesn't get challenged, it proves the assertion of William James - father of modern psychology - that 'there's nothing so absurd that if you repeat it often enough, people will believe it.'

7. This clown isn't encouraging her "supporters" to be "engaged in the debate"
She is inciting them to riot.

8. Todd! Todd! Were there any indications that Sarah was having mental problems -
that would lead to her killing your children? No, not at all. She was a perfectly normal, loving and caring mother. In fact she had just quit her job as Governor of Alaska. So she could devote more time to keeping President Obama and his conspiring evil Death Panel from murdering our children. We didn't have a clue anything was wrong with her. I would also like to thank Andrea Yates for all the help and comfort she has been giving Sarah in this crisis what's left of our family is now facing.

:wow: Nothing to see here. Move along. Daaaaayum.

9. I'll translate Sarah's heart and mangled words.
Health care is not for the poor, ill, older, employed, undereducated (in a multi-tier educational system), non-Christian, brown skinned, or available on a fair basis. To insure this occurs, health insurance reform (rather than health care reform) that reduces access to health care for the "unchosen" and transfer of wealth without risk as entitlement to insurers and the medical establishment. So Sarah Palin is free to confabulate whatever she wants because the end justifies the means.

Sadly, the humane and enlightened option -- public health care with a private option -- is not on the table from any source.
