15. No doubt there's a constituency who cheered Sessions' conduct

in the confirmation hearings, but quite a bit of the rest of the country heard a recalcitrant bully.

Sadly, Sessions' seat is likely safe, given the reasons you cite with his voters. But I don't think he persuaded anybody in Austin or Madison or Berkely etc.
