They are trying to get Obama killed
Yeah, so I'm visiting the states and I turn on Fox News a bit...wow. Its hard to put it in words. Innuendos, themes, language, tone. It seems they are attempting to incite violence, and not being incredibly coy about it all.

Im watching Hannity heckle Obama with his "mob" behind him. This is just nuts. This is borderline illegal, and don't give me that "free speech" bullshit. Its supposed to be a news organization

Sarah Palin is Charles Manson in fuck-me pumps.

When her cultish followers kill in her name, her fingerprints won’t be on any of the weapons.

23. That's what Dr. Johnson called Iago. His deal really is quite freeperish --
envious. Not so much a desire for what Othello has as much as it is a desire to ruin what Othello has.

Doesn't help that you have Hannity, Beck, Limbaugh, and others practically telling their listeners that Obama needs to be stopped. For many of these sick fucks, that means killing him.

9. But its not tough to read between the lines
Its a pretty much consistent 24/7 message that Obama is tearing the country apart, ruining everyone's lives, and must be stopped at any cost.

12. Well, of course. Their goal is to incite rebellious activity.
And I don't think very many people at Fox really give a damn about politics. I don't even think Murdoch gives that much of a crap either.

He found a niche market and he's milking it for all it's worth. Fox is willing to incite violence in order to make money.

to a level of pure hatefulness.
I am ashamed Glenn Beck lives here in CT. I wish we could kick him out.

20. You are wrong.
The shame is that a Glenn Beck exists. Whether or not he exists in CT is irrelevant.

I once said Beck should be exiled to Canada but that was kind of rude to the Canadians so I changed my mind.

it would probably be more productive to put him in the room WITH the Manitoba bus killer. If that guy can kill a bus he'd be the perfect therapy for Glenn Beck.

45. I just sent an E mail to UPS, a sponsor on Beck's show.
Explained that if they didn't pull their support, I would no longer be able to do business with them, and I would encourage my friends and family to pull their business, too.

I received a nice response, explaining how their ads are purchased and utilized. Evidently, it's a packaged deal, they buy ad time from the networks, but don't have control of which shows the ads are aired on; however, they assured me they'd look into it, thanked me for contacting them, etc.

Three of Beck's sponsors have already pulled their ads, so they are responding to the pressure we're putting on them. If you haven't already done so, please contact his sponsors and voice your displeasure. Money talks!

35. Obama needs to be strong
President Obama's weakness is his willingness to compromise which is perceived as cowardice by the right wing. He ignores these thugs at his peril--at our peril.

Hate speech is not free speech. Sedition in war time is a crime. Inciting riots and violence towards elected officials is a crime.

Part of the role of leader is the smackdown of thugs. President Obama needs to exert all the power of the imperial presidency to neuter these wackjobs before someone is murdered.

If the president stays safe and these fringe fanatics keep pushing away the centrist and independents away from the republican party then I don't see how they can remain in power even as a minority.

I think all of the tea bagger bs is actually going to harden the pro-health care reform supporters and turn off more moderate opponents to health care reform.

The crazy they get the more independents and the middle move over to the democrats side. It's what's been happening for the past 4 years.
