It would be as if Hitler at the beginning of the war stated that the war itself was started by Canada.

An obvious absurd lie like that would offend most, especially if one happened to be from Canada.
I am Jewish and taught the rise of Hitler and Man's Inhumanity to Man in the secondary schools for over 25 years. To use this particular reference is most disgusting to those of us who know survivors and have studied this. (And I am sure it is most disgusting to almost everyone here) I wonder how many Republicans who are honest and care enough about the truth to stand up to Rush?

2. If Obama dyed his skin white, grew a little mustache

and began shouting at rallies about how the Jews and other minority races are inferior untermenschen and how we must purify the society of communists, anarchists, and intellectuals, I think Limbaugh would run to embrace his ideas. He may not embrace Obama himself, knowing he's still an African American, but he'd support his work. If a true Hitler-like figure emerged in America, Flush Slimeball would probably be on his side.
