Brian Schweitzer: We'll have 100,000 troops in Iraq until we stop importing oil
That's why I love this guy - he just says it like it is with no bullshit. We should draft him to run for President.

I'm going to say something people are not going to like to hear. They say how soon are we going to get out of Iraq? When are we leaving?

We're not. In fact we're going to have more than 100,000 of our men and women in the middle east as long as you're importing oil. ... We're going to be there to maintain oil supplies until we develop alternative fuels.

-- Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer

4. It's "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous"
Not only is it tabloid-style "human interest" but it feeds the Grand Myth that the generationally wealthy depend on to get the poor chickens to vote for Colonel Sanders - they think they'll be commissioned as colonels too. The ANS 'story' is perfect fodder to feed the sheeple - if only because it feeds a sense of superiority ... and that sense of superiority feeds the notion that they too can become wealthy and famous. After all, if THEY can do it then anyone can, right?

Come to think of it ... that's also part of why the right likes dimWit as pResident. If he can do it then anyone can.

2. I really like him
but he seems to have no interest in running for President. Too bad. He's smart, honest and would appeal to a cross section of voters. Maybe next time.

3. I posted that yesterday
on crooks and liars. There is no way bush or any republican administration will let the troops come home as long as his buddies have the oil contracts. Who will protect the fields, the pipelines, the wells, our military of course.

Bravo Governor Schweitzer !!
