Update on my post about the local GM plant.

Just drove past the plant and there was steam coming out of the smoke eaters, which means they are firing up the cupolas which are used to melt iron. This is a VERY GOOD sign! Couldn't tell about the aluminum section of the plant but there were more cars parked there than normal. :bounce: :bounce: :fistbump: :applause:

4. I'm getting a GM

IN the CARS program. Said I was gonna get a Subaru, but ended up getting an HHR - my Dakota is on its last legs (wheels?)

All the paperwork is done - just waiting for the money from the government.

Please keep us posted. Last time I was in Defiance we buried my aunt Elizabeth there. That was in 1956. Four kids on my block in Toledo had polio. Across the street, one was at home in an iron lung. We went to the Detroit Auto Show every year. I can't believe I can remember these things, but can't remember why I just got up and walked to the other room. What a trip.
