2. Some politicians really don't have or make ideas.

They have people behind them giving them scripts. They are the front men that don't know what is happening so that it is double blind, and it does not show when they give interviews and distort or deceive.

That is one reason good looking politicians but not very smart get picked for office. They try to avoid things like integrity thought or personal beliefs in what is right if it does not also match money view. Ideologs are good for that, since they follow more and think less.

If they are kept in a bubble they become like puppets for those trying to set the agenda behind the scenes.

Just saying generally that is the preferred front man, since thinking people are harder to control. It is also common for them to have mutual packs of corruption so that they can threaten them with things like prison if they stake out for a cause based on their own integrity.

3. Right now, Baucus should be indicted for RICO

and influence-peddling.

That is, if he doesn't stop being so beholden to the lobbyists and remember that he's a Democrat, not a Thug.
