These quotes invariably support the desired message. They maintain just enough credibility that the casual watcher could be excused for not recognizing their bias.

I don't know if there is a way to determine what they'll say before they say it but I've heard my fair share of bombs. I forgot what the question was but a caller from Oklahoma said 'the reason why Obama is (forgot what was said here) is because he is n-" dropped the word and the host and the guest just moved on the next call.

13. Great Response! I'm White & C-Span Is Just About ALL The Predominant News

of late. I always say it's because I want to hear what other's around the country are thinking, but so many people are so very "Small minded!"

How did THIS man get elected? I don't think there was election fraud, but what I've seen come out of the wood work is nothing less than astounding! And the coverage a lot of it gets blows my mind away, TRULY!

But I don't think it's C-Span so much. I have seen so many times when they've had other types on and heard the same complaint by RW'eres.

I prefer alternative news, like Democracy Now and Bill Moyers, things of that sort. Having said that, I myself have been very upset about various issues with Obama. I sometimes don't recognize that this is the person I voted for. He has made me stop and wonder A LOT! Still I want him to succeed! I can no longer be the political activist I once was, and believe me it was nothing short of ADDICTION, but not only do I see Repukes & Democrats constantly fighting like kids in a sandbox, I see this nation coming apart at the seams. I've become such a cynic that I get a lot of what is actually going on right here at DU, and even here I've dropped my jaw many, many times!

Am I crazy? I don't think so... I just know that this country had BETTER WAKE UP, and SOON! It seems that anywhere I look I see over-reaction to downright lies about almost ANYTHING that gets discussed! And DU is just another one of those places that has entered into all of this too!

I can't understand it, but I do know it's turned me off and I have gone back to reading and watching shows that aren't politically charged. Yes, I'm RUNNING AWAY, can't take much anymore. Still come to DU to see a lot of the food fighting, er political discussion... but maybe I just want to make my 10,000th post and then just "lurk" without comment.

In High School I read a book called "Black Like Me" about a white man who darkened his skin in the segregated south and experienced what it was like to be black. Reading that book changed my view of race and discrimination...only amplified over the years through the experiences of black friends of mine.

The GOOP is feeding racism as their only hope to keep their corrupt and inept party together. Nothing unites them more than a good hate and blacks have and always are at the top of their list.

In the past I was careful when I heard someone spew this crap to challenge them for being racist. Not any longer. I'm in their faces the first GOOP talking point they utter. I've had enough!

Seems like the RNC is all but writing the topics on this network these days. Minority bashing must get them viewers or money. I have yet to hear anyone advocating going after those who employ undocumented workers. They bitch about how our healthcare system can't afford to treat these people and use it as a justification to keep the status quo...instead of going after those who profit from these people's labor...fine 'em, jail 'em and force them to pay for the care of these people. Nail a bunch of these big corporates and watch this problem fade away...
