53. They're on teevee because the President of the United States singled their force out for

acting stupidly in an incident that the President ADMITTED he did not know the full scope of. Not only that but a friend of the President was the alleged "victim". That was absolutely beyond the pale for the man who supposedly represents all Americans and stands for the justice that our nation supposedly represents to make a racially-charged accusation such as that on national teevee.

I am thrilled that these officers are standing up for their force and saying that the President was out of line.

You may have noticed that the President is now saying that both the officer and Mr. Gates are good men AND that both of them were at fault. No more stupid police action quotes.

I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the fact that there is an audio tape of the whole incident that the police union has said clearly shows that Mr. Gates was out of line and refused to cooperate with the officer, who was trying to do his job?
