Pelosi Upbeat About Prospects for Quick Health Care Vote

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi remains upbeat about the prospects for a House vote on health care reform next week, despite doubts from some Democrats and efforts by Republicans to slow things down.

At a news conference, Pelosi told reporters "We're making progress." That echoed the remarks of Rep. Mike Ross, though he adds there's still "a long way to go."

1. I smell an ambush.
Get ready for another tirade from boner about not having the time to consider a bill that none of them would vote for anyway. That means they won't have the time to run to the insurance companies so that they can spend all their money misrepresenting the bill.
