Obama should unseal and show his original, unabridged, non-COLB version of his BC if only to shut the two up and have them call off all the crazies that are gathering guns and ammunition.

but not so far away, birth certificates were handwritten or typed and had all kinds of information on them. When you order a copy from the state, they're nothing like the *copy* of the original many of us used to have. I'm sure Obama had something similar being born in the early 60s. So even if that's what the birthnuts are considering "original", it doesn't mean anything because lots of people don't have that birth certificate anyway.

They do keep records of embarkation and disembarkation, manifests, in essence. You can often figure out where people are coming from in that manner, but not always.

Example: You take a plane to Paris, and then a second, French plane to Mozambique. The embarkation record shows you going to Paris.

You return from Mozambique by way of London on British Air. The disembarkation record shows you coming in from London.

They never xeroxed anyone's passport to check the stamps, either.

Nowadays, you can get travel records pretty easily through agencies like INTERPOL if you have a valid reason for them.

I don't want this issue to go away, and if Obama does this is would end it. The birthers are willingly walking into the light for all to see, and they will do no damage to Obama, despite what the MSM wants you to believe. Let the birthers flail about for as long as they can. The longer it goes on without a resolution the more shrill the birthers will get, calling even more attention to their craziness, and by extension, the GOP's craziness. It also forces Repubs to either distance themselves from the birthers, which will hurt them, or align themselves with the birthers, which will also hurt them. It's a win-win for the Democrats and Obama. It helps us, not hurts us. The birthers are a gift to the Dems. These people are marginalizing the Repubs even more than the GOP itself is.
