Moon landing deniers and creationists are birds of a feather.
No matter how many tons of evidence you throw at them, they'll go LALALALAICANTHEARYOU and stay happily and proudly dumb.

Discuss.

2. They are obviously all nuts. Eiffel Tower deniers, on the other hand, have uncovered the truth.
Tell the truth now. Have YOU ever actually seen and touched the Eiffel Tower in person? No, I didn't think so. It's a photoshop trick.

5. Nope, can't be...
I remember seeing the Tower in movies made in the 1930's. It predates Photoshop. But they've had some pretty good modeling artists in Hollywood for quite a while.

11. You're forgetting that someone knew someone who worked for someone who was related to
a person who was in Florida the day Apollo 11 lifted off of the launch pad and was pulled over by a Florida State Trooper who was convinced that after all mathematical calculations were done by someone who held the slide-rule while their cousin was looking at it who was related to a person who worked for Rockwell in Downey who knew that there was a camera onboard that would be used to take video of something that didn't happen. Let us not forget that you didn't know the person who calculated the radiation that the Van Allen radiation belt would be instantaneously deadly to anyone who passed through it.

Who the fuck do you think you are, that you can deny a conspiracy perpetrated by Lyndon Baines Johnson happened? How stupid can you be?

but still even the paranormal shit has nothing to do with fake moon landings, and neither has anything to do with the reckless greed of drug companies, and the proven lies of the Bush Crime Family.

30. People who are willing to do away with the burden of proof in favor of innuendo are the same,
whether they happen to agree with you or not. There is no meaningful difference between a moon landing denier and a MIHOPer, except inasmuch as one believes garbage you find politically acceptable, and one does not.

21. You may think we're all the same
I believe we went to the moon, but I don't buy fire taking down steel and concrete and turning that concrete to dust. Or that NORAD fucked up 4 times that day when they had 45 minutes before the plane hit the tower. Or that the "terrorist" didn't fly out of NY. I guess they were lucky NORAD fucked up that day. Just to mention a few. Come to think of it, maybe the WTC is still there because I have never been to NY. Maybe the whole thing was a fake. Or maybe they have an invisible cloak covering the WTC. Just because you have no interest in finding out the truth about 9/11 doesn't mean you can put us truthers in the same category.

18. To the conspiracy theorist, any factual proof to the contrary of the theory further reinforces the
magnitude of the conspiracy.

Thus, to the conspiracy theorist, by definition any concrete evidence that contravenes their worldview is simply more proof of how vast and all pervasive the conspirator's "reach" into every nook & cranny of public life truly is.

Take a gander at the September 11 forum, for instance. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again the sane posters down there - the non-CT'ers - post solid, factual evidence, almost always backed with accessible links, that render whatever section of the LIHOP/MIHOP thesis they are addressing absurd.

And what is the inevitable CT'er reply? A lot of gibbering, cursing, and babbling.

The dedicated Conspiracy Theorist is as mentally ill as someone with severe BiPolar disorder.

28. Bah, you and your evidence-based
facts. Come on! I can change whatever I want about reality just by wishing for it. With a single whim the moon landing was staged, big foot and the Loch Ness Monster exist, aliens crash landed in Roswell and the government has been hiding it from us for years, creationism explains the hows and the whys of the universe, 911 was let happened or was made to happen on the whims of three people in government, years ago congress, the president, and all justices of the courts were murdered and replaced by ground weasels who now secretly run the U.S. with an iron fist.

That's right. All reality flows from the narcissistic head of Q3JR4 and the rest of you are just pawns in the horribleness that is sloughed from my stone-dark raving mad mind.

Or...you know...not.

Q3JR4
Despite the previous post, Q3JR4 is a firm member of the reality based show-me-evidence-for-your-random-belief-or-go-f$!k-yourself community. He accepts that the universe is governed by reason and facts and that, ultimately, science is one of the only tools that will allows us to discover those facts.

34. It's about money...
Too many people make a living off of this shit for them ever to acknowledge the truth. JFK assassination conspiracy, creationism, fake moon landing, birthers, UFO's...these have all developed into muti-million dollar industries.

For many people peddling this acknowledging the truth would be putting themselves out of a job. So they have a vested financial interest in keeping a semblence of controversy going...
