Can we (DU) do a hash tag on Twitter??

don't know how many of us twitter, but I suspect quite a few? I wasn't interested in it at all until the recent upheaval in Iran, then was absolutely glued to the Iran hashtags. I'm still following the tweets of the protesters every day, (and when I can't sleep at night, 9.5 hour time diff)

It wouldn't have to take anything away from this message board, but it would also be fun to meet each other on twitter, and to follow each other.....and to post news and opinions in 140 characters or less! Anyone up for this, or do I just need to get out more? If you like the idea, kick this and post something on your twitter acct with the hashtag #DU

(don't know how to protect from freeps/creeps tho, any ideas?)
