Families of diplomats held by U.S. meet Red Cross rep
http://www.turkishweekly.net/news.php?id=44137

The representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Tehran, Andreas Schweitzer, said here on Sunday that the Iranian diplomats who were kidnapped in northern Iraq are in good psychological and physical condition.

In a meeting with the families of the five Iranian diplomats who were kidnapped at the Iranian Consulate in the northern Iraqi city of Irbil, he said that a Red Cross delegation met them in Iraq last week.

"According to the report released by the visiting delegation, all of them are in good condition, both psychologically and physically," IRNA quoted him as saying.

On January 11, U.S. troops seized the five diplomats in Irbil, claiming they were Iranian intelligence agents.
