Michael Jackson was murdered, La Toya Jackson says
I feel sorry for the LAPD. This investigation is about go into circus mode. Even worse, Joe Jackson wants the kids.

http://www.vancouversun.com/news/Michael+Jackson+murdered+Toya+Jackson+says/1783982/story.html

LaToya Jackson said she suspects Michael Jackson was murdered, the U.K.'s Mail on Sunday reports.

"I believe Michael was murdered," the Mail on Sunday quoted the deceased singer's older sister as saying. "I felt that from the start. Not just one person was involved, rather it was a conspiracy of people. He was surrounded by a bad circle. Michael was a very meek, quiet, loving person. People took advantage of that. People fought to be close to him, people who weren’t always on his side."

LaToya said that Michael's staff members isolated the pop star from his family, and did not tell him when his family tried to reach him.

Toxicology tests from the autopsy on Michael Jackson will take weeks to be completed.

Meanwhile, the custody battle over Jackson's kids continues.

The singer's father, Joe Jackson, is reported by Time Magazine to have said that he should be raising the singer's children, Prince Michael I, 12, Paris Michael, 11, and Prince Michael II, 7, who is also known as Blanket.

"Their grandmother Katherine and I should raise them," Joe told Time Magazine. "Yes there's no one else who can do what we can do for them. We should keep them all together and make them happy. Feed them like they are supposed to be fed."

19.  Including Michael
I read on The Daily Beast that there was a guy hired just to remind him to eat.

Mix that with gobs of drugs, insomnia, constant surgeries and IV drugs, outcome can't be good.

4. Not particularly surprised at this
I liked Michael Jackson's music but his life, at least the last 10 years was pretty much a circus, much of his own making.

Why would I expect his death to be any different.

Sad for all involved, really. Especially for the kids.

Abuse them like you did your own kids. Meanwhile, Katherine turns her head the other way?

The name La Toya Jackson and the word credibility don't belong in the same sentence.

And last I read MJ was still a house guest at Berry Gordy's family crypt at Forest Lawn.

I agree, it is going to get unpleasant.

14. I'm surprised that Michael named his mother guardian knowing...
...his father would have easy access.

On the other issue, I'm sure some in the family would rather believe MJ was murdered than that he was a long-time addict who hired third rate doctors to fill him with drugs he ordered.

but somehow I figured that this would be a freak show to put Coney Island to shame when I heard the news about MJ's death...

24. why is the toxicology report going to "take weeks to be completed"?
On every TV show, those reports are done while the patient is still in the waiting room. I have to think that it would be faster than that just because they'd want them completed while there was still access to the body.

And hasn't it been like 3 weeks already?

27. I'm so tired of this family
Except for possibly the mother, they're all publicity hounds. They'll do or say anything that will get them some media exposure. I'm quite sure Michael had some questionable people around him, but from what I've seen of his family, I think HE isolated himself from them.

Edited on Sun Jul-12-09 11:18 PM by beam me up scottie
Their interests would have been better served by keeping him drugged and alive as long as possible. If they let their golden goose od, they had to know they'd be the target of an investigation.

30. Sure he was. By enablers too greedy or afraid to do something.
Everyone who knew he had an addiction, but just stood by for whatever reason, is a tad guilty.

That includes you, LaToya.

33. How else is he supposed to get his hands on Michael's money?
This is a good reminder for all parents to review their wills, I doubt Michael thought he would ever die at such a young age. Now the courts are going to have to sort it out with the kids caught in the middle.
