Keith had NO Michael Jackson coverage tonight!
I don't know how or why MSNBC let it happen, but I'm glad it happened. I thought sure (when even The Ed Show) had MJ coverage, that the other MSNBC shows would follow suit.

R.I.P. and no disrespect intended to MJ and his fans. It's just that we need to cover stories about things like Al Franken, health care, etc., and Keith did a great job of it tonight. :patriot:

1. Well, over here MSNBC pre-empted KO with a rerun of the memorial service.
:P

2. I am only able to catch Keith at 4:00am.
But looks like MSNBC is doing the 3rd repeat of the Jackson Memorial. Alas.

4. You must be on Mountain or Pacific time?
Because Countdown, sans Jackson, aired at 8 & 10 pm EDT. Rachel only aired once, at 9 EDT; the 11 pm repeat was pre-empted by more MJ stuff. :(

5. Yeah, but MSNBC replayed the memorial this morning at 5:00.
That's when Keith's show is usually rerun from the night before.

6. KO has covered much more trivial events in the past

I wonder why he didn't cover it.

7. I was just thinking the same thing.
What did he do with all the extra time NOT spent talking about Jackson? Talk about baseball? :)

8. That's why I laugh at people complaining about the coverage.
If it wasn't MJ it would have been about pinhead Palin or "Don't cry for me Argentina." Or anything else that is trival. People act as though MSM has just started doing this stuff. They beat everything like a dead horse, which is why I barely watch it as much. I also saw on another board where people where complaining about ET and Access Hollywood being about MJ. I guess they were pissed that stories like "Lindsey has another breakdown" and "Jennifer Aniston may get back with Brad Pitt" weren't being discussed ad nauseam again.

9. Well, he did have two stories on Palin and one on Sanford.
And I guess that's not significant enough for you. Oh well...too bad, because you missed the stuff on health care and all the rest.

10. I wasn't really just speaking about Keith. Thank you very much.
I was talking about the media overall.

13. Sounds good to me.
I don't think it takes away from MJ. It may be the perception the media is brainwashing the pukes to be giving that image, but yeah, no... we know your're doing a great job!!:hi:

14. Whereas Bill-o the Clown was all over MJ.
I guess he found that more palatable than having to make any reference to Senator Franken.
