Even if Palin had no intention to run in 2012, wouldn't she refuse to answer questions about that?

It occurred to me that she would likely do just as she's doing, ducking the question of whether she intends to run in 2012 whether or not she had any such intention.

If she DID intend to run, it would be way early to declare, although it would remove a little of the stain of dimwittedness that her quitting the governor's office without giving any legit reason has put on her.

But even if she had no such intention and just wanted to cash in on book/TV/radio deals, and was just tired and bored with governing (and realized she has no talent or interest for it) telling her rabid fans that fact would cause a good chunk of her remaining support to dry up. She's not so much of a compelling figure without the concept that she could ride her crazy snow machine into the White House someday.
