| You dumb fucking ignorant ass rednecks |
 |
Do you not realize how moronic you look in your wife-beater T-shirts and beer bellies gathered around some ignorant ass fuck who knows as much about politics and history as rush limbaugh waving your flags and acting all patriotic now? Where were you when your drunken coke-addled preznit was spending our blood and treasure on his drunken follies intended only to fatten the wallets of the same men who bought the election for him in the first place? Where were you when the same idiot fucktard was deregulating everything he could get his greedy hands on to again enrich the bank accounts of the men who purchased the election for him? Now you are sitting here amidst the ashes of "The House that Bush Built" wondering how the fuck you can blame this monumental failure on someone else. Let me give you a word of advice. Shove that fucking teabag up your ass. You aren't seeking redemption of this country...you are merely trying to assuage the guilt because THIS FUCKING CRISIS WAS ENABLED BY YOU! I am sorry. I passed one of these teabagging parties this am and was thoroughly and utterly disgusted at these poseurs trying to act like "Good Americans" all of the sudden. I hope they all fucking choke on the bile that their ilk spills.

Other than that, how do you feel ? |

I called my aunt this week. She's worried that Obama is going to "ruin America".
It's hopeless. All we can hope for is that they don't vote. I hate to sound so powerless, but when the number of idiots increases, we become an idiotic country. And it didn't happen yesterday. These people are being fed by their churches, I believe, among other ways. These preachers are setting a context for conservative politics. That's part of it. The media is probably more responsible than anything. They gave the assholes a pass, as they ran around exposing a CIA agent, lying to the UN, killing a million people in Iraq...
Your post really sums up the sentiment over the last ten years, as we watched powerless. I still remember the first day I found this forum. And I'm grateful.
We may never heal in our lifetimes. Too many idiots.

That a civilization will start to fail when the top 1% of thinkers decide to leave.
These are not necessarily the top earners or the most popular and most people wont even notice that they are gone, but once they leave the level of innovation in a civilization goes down drastically. They are the 1% of people who truly can think.
And they have been leaving the US for decades since Reagan took the white house and drove the country into a ditch.
America is over, but like a chicken with it's head cut off, it just doesn't know it yet.

He/she was merely pointing out the monumental stupidity of the people at the one witnessed. In fact, it's the Republican Party that traditionally is more prone to attack that right.
Remember how we were "unpatriotic" for not supporting Bush's policies? (Gee, whatever happened to "it's your duty to support your President in time of war?" Funny how fast THAT principle disappeared on January 20th.)
Remember his "free speech zones?" And his "loyalty pledges?"
Yes, even the morons have a right to free speech. One of the many, many reasons I love this country.

Where did he say that they don't have a right to protest? He's disagreeing with their politics and criticizing them for what he sees as ignorance. He did not say that they don't have a right to protest. He didn't mean that they are idiots simply for protesting. He meant that they were idiots because of what they were protesting.
What you're doing is a common right wing rhetorical tactic (I don't know if you're doing it on purpose or not). When someone disagrees with you, instead of actually arguing the issues you start acting as if your rights are being suppressed when nothing of the sort is happening.

The rant and good cup 'o coffee and my morning is now complete Have you seen a chicken with it's head recently cut off? That ProPalin group seems to have had it's head cut off, and they are now without brains and running in circles. BUT, me thinks it's a game. Palin wants to freak them out. A well established and basic psychological manipulation of group think. So that when she makes her comeback, they are grateful, emotionally relieved, and vindicated in their faith in Palin. They will support without question. It'll be a revival!! I'll laugh my ass off if she gets the Rep nomination. Come to think of it, I'll laugh my ass off if she doesn't. A win-win for me

If the OP wants to rail against teabaggers, bush supporters, etc, that's fine, because that's their behavior. Using redneck as a slur, is pure bigotry especially when so many voted for Obama. The OP embarasses me. I want left leaning people who consider themselves rednecks to feel welcome here.
just my opinion. Rednecks, as a whole, are a group too many DUers kick around to make themselves look like good liberals or Democrats. I guess everyone needs a whipping boy for their anger.

What, exactly, was it about the "tea party" that bothered you?
I'm sure it wasn't people exercising their right to assemble; I fully support that right.
I assume you disagreed with the message, although you didn't actually share the message or your disagreement. If you had, I'd probably join you in disagreeing with that message.
Or were you just imitating the bigotry rampant in the U.S. with your assumptions and descriptions?
I'm not patriotic; I never have been. I'm doing my best to wriggle out of the family festivities, because I really don't give a shit one way or another.
If I WERE to celebrate something about my country, it would probably be the Constitution and the Bill of Rights; I think peaceful demonstrations are a perfect way to celebrate Independence.
But that's just me.

I'm with you, HWNN. I'm outraged that they don't even have the decency to be sorry for what they've done. On the contrary. And regardless of all that's said about brainwashing, they know better. Their fervor for the destruction of the last 30 years comes from a basic hatred for the opportunity for all that this country was meant to be, and was in fact in other times, which I won't tolerate - from anybody.
This is a war against society that they're supporting. And it's global. I have no tolerance for them what.so.ever. They are in fact a blight on humanity in my book.
There is plenty of track record to know this RW by. They have no excuse for still siding with it. (And I include in that the "Blue Dog" creeps too - they're the same thing in disguise.)

| 104. The Tax issue has been hijacked by the freeptards, because it's the only thing that we have left. |

While the whole teabagger thing is ridiculous, the concept is valid.
The same idiots that enabled the Military Industrial complex, Big Ag, and Big Oil to reap enormous profits, enabled dubya to grant them near immunity without cost.
The only way this transfer of wealth is going to continue is if we continue handing over our tax dollars willingly and without demanding a detailed account of how the tax money is being spent.
There have been many people, long before BushCo that have questioned the overall legality of the Tax system in America. I for one have actually started reading Title 26, and it reads like something that Bernie Maddof would create. There is absolutely no way that they want you to compremhend this system, because they obfuscate the intent at every step.
The most effective way to maintain a fraud is to keep it shrouded in secrecy, and play on peoples fears of losing out, being unpatriotic, or by using threat of punishment. The tax system does this, and there is a whole mythology developed around the brutality of the IRS.
Refusing to be a cooperative, complacent part of the fraud is key, and I feel that the Republicans, who are part of the fraud are now busy at work shaping public opinion by releasing the craziest rabid dog idiots strategically to blacken the eye of the Truth in Taxes movement.
For me, it is simpler to distill it into something that everyone can understand. I for one, am ex-military. I watched huge sums of money pour into the Military during the Reagan years, and have seen absolutely no gain from it. I see the Military abandon bases, leaving the public to clean up the toxic mess left behind. I see new weaponry developed for no real threat, yet Military remains a sacred cow, unable to take the slightest budget cuts, while our Veterans are stonewalled after serving years in the service.
I see the military machine used as a political weapon of Empire building, without a clear threat.
For me, it is very simple. I will not participate in this fraud. If that means living within my means, and absolutely shunning working within the Rat Race, then so be it. This is the difference. While the teabaggers refuse to pay taxes out of spite, I do not pay taxes because I do not earn money within their framework. The framework they have created maintains a system of control via automatic witholding and forced compliance with a tax law that is voluntary. Most people voluntarily fill out a 1040 because a large amount of their wages has been witheld from them by their employer, and they want it back. If you don't file, you'll never see it, so in that case, did you ever earn it?
We all know that the Freeptards are idiots, but the only way of actually exerting any control on the Government is by witholding the purse strings and demanding accountability.
NO Indirect taxes that go into a black hole.

Are featured "VIPs" at the big tea bag party just outside San Antonio. Local media here playing it up like it's one of the patriotic events just like fireworks and parades. Still pushing the b.s. that it's non partisan...spokeswoman on the news says it's a way to show your a "good American". The town they're having it in (Marion) has a well earned reputation for racial intolerance.

My house is not too far from the city park gazebo where one of these events is currently underway. We can catch snippets of their blather from the back porch. I've had a couple glasses of chardonnay, so I think I'll amble on down the street and see if I can engage a few folks in some enlightened discourse. Anyone got bail money?

I never voted for the Dip Shit, nor have I ever supported ANYTHING he has ever done. Nor have I ever voted for or supported any asswipe Republican.
However, I do see a lot of 'ignorant ass fucks,' who are supposed to be educated and more intelligent, constantly ridiculing all Rednecks and people who live in Red States. Here's a clue for you... There are MORE Republicans in your Blue States than Republicans in Red States, and typically 40% Democratic voters in Red States. Wrap your allegedly more 'intelligent' minds around that and think about it for awhile before you open your fucking trap.
Oh, and it's kind of hard to say that Democratic Government is much better, when Corporate America and the Wealthy Elite still get the big cash giveaways, while average people in this country still get the same chump change token efforts that cost them more in the long run. It makes it very difficult to keep saying on the job site that the Democrats will represent average peoples' best interests, when they only look out for THEIR best interests.
