2. For Coleman?
Is it taking so long because they are trying to figure out a way to give the election to Coleman?

That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

3. Not you. This smells of Bushification and keeping Franken out of the healthcare vote,
among other things.

But yes, it smells of corruption and collusion.

4. Ironically they believe they are taking exactly as long as necessary.
I guess they never considered consulting with us as to how long it should take.

6. any indication of who appointed each of these judges? I wish we could make it a rule
that every time there is a judicial decision, there must be an indication of who appointed them.
easier to keep track of just which side the "judicial activism" comes from.

I never tire of pointing out that five REPUBLICAN appointed members of the supreme court
anointed georgie.

This seems unprecedented, so I don't think there's a normal.

11. Even the local MN legal experts are wondering what's going on
I listen to the local KTNF talk shows online and the local attorneys they interview are puzzled at the length of time it's taking. And this particular court isn't known for deliberating for long periods of time.

Something's up.

14. Courts shouldn't be picking elected officials in the first place.
There is something just basically wrong with that and we should've learned that lesson in 2000.

The fact that we can split atoms and create new life forms with genetic engineering and land on the moon belies our claim of being civilized since we apparently can't even manage the simple task of accurately counting votes...

15. My prediction. They will NOT rule on it, now or ever. It's gone down the black hole.
Think about it. Who's gonna MAKE them issue a ruling?
