1. 14 pounds?
"British unit of weight for dry products generally equivalent to 14 pounds avoirdupois (6.35 kg), though it varied from 4 to 32 pounds (1.814 to 14.515 kg) for various items over time. Originally any good-sized rock chosen as a local standard, the stone came to be widely used as a unit of weight in trade, its value fluctuating with the commodity and region. In the 14th century England’s exportation of raw wool to Florence necessitated a fixed standard. In 1389 a royal statute fixed the stone of wool at 14 pounds and the sack of wool at 26 stones. Trade stones of variant weights persist, such as the glass stone of 5 pounds. The stone is still commonly used in Britain to designate the weights of people and large animals."

4. 1 stone = 14 lbs
so he weighed about 112, give or take a few ounces. Very little for a guy of average height.

10. It sounds like he was just in awful shape.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised. But his life just seems so sad to me.

He was just such a huge talent and his personal life was just such a mess.

I really wonder what his poor kids are like. How could they not just be a mess.

14. Story That Jackson Weighed 8st 'Not True'
A newspaper story that Michael Jackson weighed just 8st 1oz when he suffered a fatal heart attack on Thursday has been rebuffed by the Los Angeles coroner.

Quoting leaked post-mortem results, The Sun said the 5ft 10 singer's body was "severely emaciated" and his stomach contained nothing more than partially dissolved pills.

Despite having a punishing rehearsal schedule for his upcoming concerts, Jackson was understood to be eating once a day - which could explain his weight.
