Michael Jackson and Tribute Threads

So many cpomplaints about people expressing their opinions that Michael Jackson diddled little boys.

So if the complainers want to make it all go away, maybe the tribute threads should end. When people see tributes to pedophiles, they tend to express their disgust.

Any way, thought I'd start my Michael Jackson thread.

Admission of guilt. Plain and simple.

More recently, he fought criminal charges. Criminal charges and a civil case are two differnet things.

You knew that, didn't you?

Doesn't mean he didn't do it. All it means is that in a court of law it could not be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

In child abuse cases, reasonable doubt can be fairly simplistic to achieve.

In a civil case, the standard is different. The case is based upon the preponderance of evidence. HE paid off the kid in the first case. That means that the evidence was looked at by his team and himself and they determined the preponderance of evidence indicated he would be found liable.
