A couple of days ago people were complaining that his disappearance wasn't getting enough lpay on the media, now that he's returned, admitted lying to all and sundry, and to a long-standing affair, I'm not surprised it's the talk of the day.

the nice thing about the internet is that if you're not feeling well-served by the TV news you can always go and see what else is going on that you feel might be important. I see various other interesting stories today, but nothing that smacks of news burial.

10. I actually think the Sanford story may be bigger than we even realize yet

Why would Sanford travel all the way to Argentina just for sex? If he really wanted someone other than his wife I am sure that there are plenty of other women that live much closer that would take him just for the fact that he was a Governor if nothing else. He was taking an enormous risk going down to Argentina, which makes me think that this story probably involves more than just a woman. Am I the only one who is thinking there may be a major scandal involving lots of money going on here?

I am questioning whether this is merely an affair or something much bigger, I question whether he would travel all the way down to Argentina just for sex. Granted I am sure there was sex involved, but I would be surprised if there was not money involved as well. History has shown that when US officials secretly travel to that part of the world they are usually up to no good.
