Maddow criticized for failing to talk about health care for the third straight show
Bob Somerby, today:
According to Nexis, Maddow last said the words “health care” on last Thursday’s program. It was part of a fleeting reference to—what else?— the stupidity of a health care plan put forward by stupid Republicans. On Maddow, you get to hear about torture, and about Iran. And then, as a special treat, you get to hear that the other tribe is stupid. Occasionally, you get to hear sexual insults hurled at the working-class Americans who have the most at stake in the (well-ignored) health care debate.

I tried to verify this claim myself by finding the transcript for the shows in question:
Friday: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31488437/ns/msnbc_tv-rachel... /
Monday: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31506579/ns/msnbc_tv-rachel... /
Tuesday: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31525850/ns/msnbc_tv-rachel... /

I found no discussion on health care.

2. Another weekly bash Rachel post.
Just for the record, Ed Schultz, on the same news channel talks about it non-stop. Maybe you should watch him if you don't care about the subjects Rachel discusses.

3. I would imagine that there is still plenty of time to talk about health
care, IF she is avoiding the subject, she can't do it forever.

4. hmmmm.. let`s see i listen to or watch...
bill press, stephanie miller, big ed-radio and television, thom hartman, and ron reagan. all these people i mentioned have discussed healthcare on their shows at least once a day for weeks. big ed devotes hours a week on the radio and tv for health care issues. why does rachel have to devote time to this issue when it discussed through out the day?

there are other issues and stories to report..

i think old bobby does`t like rachel having a tv show...

5. Both Ed and Keith have talked about the health care debate
Maddow does not have to repeat what they have said. I also care about the torture and Iranian issue along with health care.

Anyway, the health care debate is slowly moving forward. I'm sure Maddow will report on aspects of it when it nears crunch time.

7. I believe the Ed, Chris, Keith and Rachel coordinate what they are going to discuss
Once on Keith's show someone wanted to talk about a particular subject and Keith mentioned that Rachel is going to talk about that on her show and he changed the subject. Also, when the press was smearing Keith and claiming that he lied about his mother's death they claimed that Keith had a tantrum because Rachel had a quest on her show that he wanted. When Keith confronted this story he mentioned that there was no issue with Rachel having that guest on her show and they both had agreed on it.
