1. this happened to me as well
turned out I had signed up to follow Dennis Kucinich way back before anybody was talking about twitter

I had three followers before i realized I had a twitter account

so I bet if you go try to log in to twitter using a username and password that you would normally use, you will probably get in

2. There is an email virus going around
It sends an email saying someone has invited you to Twitter.

Doesn't seem to be what you've got, but be careful.

3. I got some kind of a porn spam follower
every other post of theirs was supposedly a link to their naked pix

I'm pretty sure i can find naked pix on the internet all by myself, if I ever need to

4. People who follow me are going to be
pretty bored. I never do anything on Twitter yet I get followed.

As stated elsewhere in this thread, there's an invitation virus going around. Me? I just block "Followers" I'm not interested in...one easy click.

7. All 3 of my "followers" are spammers
Joy. :eyes:

I had to join before I figured out that Twitter is mostly crap, spam and FAIL, and this is before Twitter inevitably decides to include ads. No doubt their investors want to make money.
