19.  Meghan is just lazy
Edited on Sat Jun-20-09 10:31 PM by GodDamLiberal
She's always had everything handed to her so she doesn't even really try.
She knows that if she pulls that "I'm young, I'm blonde,my parents have money. So whatever." she can get away with crap. I'll bet if she was joe the plumber's daughter she could recite the complete history of the "the crapper".

Sorry meant this reply to go to the original.

24. Putting the energy of those two brains together could result in imbecility of epic proportions.
Perhaps the Large Hadron could be tweaked to act as kind of Superconducting Nitwit Collider. Can't be too careful when dealing with weapons-grade stupid.

not to mention a possible inherited tendency towards dementia. Steele is old enough to know better.

4. Such a negative poll!
I prefer to ask, "Who is smarter?" The obvious answer is "table saw."

5. Is McCain stupid or emotionally arrested? I can't tell.
Steele is simply horribly misguided, not stupid.

10. Absolutely. She may outgrow her arrested development, at which point...
... we can tell if she's stupid.

6. UNFAIR poll, because they are BOTH seeking their asses in vain with the aid of a funnel
I'll give this round to Meghan, though, because...TO DATE...Mikey hasn't written a blog post on how hard it is to get laid because of his dad.

That could all change before the next sunrise, but AT THE TIME OF THIS POST...Meggy's the only one whining about deficits in the ol' badonkadonk .

7. McCain's problem
is lack of education and living with her parents...and a case of arrested development. That's just one of those things. I'm rather sorry for her, to be honest.

I have no compassion for steele.

13. lack of education ? she went to Columbia
really, these schools should be ashamed when they see graduates as stupid as this.

there are many students who work hard and very intelligent but don't get in.

9. Steele
He was dumb enough to repeat the GOP hat metaphor, despite how awkwardly lame it was the first time around. His only possible excuse is that he is Democratic plant, which I have not ruled out.

What is up with Bill Maher caressing Meghan McCain? I like Maher and all but that was a little creepy.

21. For me, it's Steele's unexpected stupidity
I don't mean that in a "he looks like he should be smart" way. But with Meghan McCain, we've seen her stupid before. Blonde. 20ish. Airhead. We've accepted it as a part of our culture. Then Michael Steele starts talking about one-armed midgets as part of his strategy to re-brand the GOP, well, we have not acclimated to that kind of dumb.

15. This is tough--it's hard to tell how much of the inane with McCain
(inane with McCain!) is immaturity/being young/sheltered upbringing. But the Steele, it's just like there should be more expectation that he wouldn't say really dumb things because he's a grown man and sort of has run for office and stuff. I think the people going with Steele hold out hope that Meghan can improve, but maybe it's a bit late for Michael (or the things he says are really part of his strategy and are "on purpose". Which was unsettling when he said it and makes me wonder to this very day.)

22. I don't know
I thought she was extremely nervous on Maher's show. She can be reasonable, for instance, her stance on abstinence only. I believe some of her views are rational, but she's still influenced by daddy's political perceptions. Notice that she stated she didn't vote for * because of what he did to her dad. I'd say she had a lot more sense of not trusting * than her father did.

"Ah wazzant even bohrn THEN!" To which he shot back, "I wasn't born during the French Revolution..."

That's just about as stupid as one can get. After that everyone knew who the real leader of the GOP was.
