Hilarious opening line. Dave stood behind the woman saying the line and said, "True," after she said he was just an idiot.

Now he just said, "When I call your name, come on up and pick up your apology." Plus, "Welcome to the Fire Dave rally. It's nice that people hate me who are no longer in my immediate family. My son is telling kids at school his father is Conan."

6. Geez, Michelle Pfieffer is like pulling teeth!1 I was hoping for a Julia ROBERTS moment but

she's almost making Joaquin PHOENIX (whom I LIKE as an actor) sound articulate. She's pausing before answering every question, is putting "Um" before every phrase.

But back to the earlier on-topic, in the monolog he said, "Let's cut to the camera with the 'Fire Dave' rally." & of course the expectation is to see, like, FIVE ijits milling around. And instead it is a MASSIVE demonstration, burning effigies.

Brilliant. I'm not much of a Dave fan, but the man can hold his own. It's clear he's moved on. But somehow I doubt the Palin groupies will let it go.
