So who do you know in Newburgh NY?
Friends, I've been hitting the streets getting democratic party members to sign my nominating petition. 350 good signatures gets me a spot on the September 15th Primary Ballot.
Please pm me if you know a Dem in the city of Newburgh. Any contacts will be helpful. Thanks for your consideration..
Ah, politics.

Born and raised in Closter, NJ (18 years). Lived in Monsey, NY for 8 years. I dated a girl from Newburgh for almost 3 years but.... now I'm in freakin Ohio and dealing with the shit out here :(

Good luck though!

60 miles from NYC on the other side of the Hudson. :) :hi:

7. The Board of Elections should be able
to give you a list of every registered Dem in Newburgh. It will also show what elections and primaries they have voted. After you have the sigs you need and start campaigning, sort the list by how likely they are to vote (based on history) and hit these folks first. I am up near Syracuse and they list they have hear is an Access database. I never learned Access but was able to import it into Excel pretty easily. I know this wasn't your question and unfortunately I do not know anyone in Newburgh, but I learned a lot after getting my but kicked in my first run that helped me to be sucessful in my second attemp.

put together a team, then get out the vote..
I got everything I need from the Board of Elections.
Our files (in Orange County) are in excel format.
We have 6 people running for the two city council seats. All democrats, I mean registered in the dem party.
I've been endorsed by the Working Families Party and now need to secure the Dem line..
