WHEN will it be time to play the "blame game?"
Since the terrorist invaded the Holocaust Museum today, I have been all over the righty and lefty blogs today, reading the posts and the comments under the posts. I also did the same thing when Dr. Tiller was executed. You know the one comment that makes my blood boil?

"Let’s not use a tragedy such as this for a blame game or political gain."

I even saw it a few times here on DU in certain threads after Dr. Tiller's death. Why is it when the rights wingers don't want their own shit to blow back in their own faces, do they start saying, "this is a personal tragedy, and we shouldn't be using it for political gain or playing the blame game?"

WHEN can we start blaming then? After 5 people are executed by right wing extremists? 10? 25? At what point will American wake up and see that they are being manipulated by hate speech? Hate speech, that incites people to violence should not be protected any more than yelling "fire" in a crowded theater.

I'm ready for the MSM and elected officials to start playing the blame game right now. I'm ready for hearings in Congress, I'm ready for in-depth investigative reporting in newspapers, I'm ready for people to be prosecuted, I'm ready for people to be held accountable for what they say.

When a tragedy occurs like the killings of Dr. Tiller and the killing of a capitol guard in the Holocaust Museum, it IS the perfect time to play the blame game.

Sorry....I'm just so spitting maaaaaad and frustrated.

I started blaming them in 1968 and haven't stopped. No matter how disappointing the left is on many things - and please note I said the left, as opposed to the Democratic party, which has its own unique crosses to bear - the right wing has done incalculable damage for 40 years to the very viability of the nation.

3. are you implying that that the left is more disappointing than the D party is??

??

(to me personally, the left - with which i identify btw - is disappointing mainly because it hardly even registers on the political spectrum in the US. so there. )
