Poll question: Federal Employees: Are There Lunch Prayer Groups Where You Work
I worked for the Department of Energy for a couple of decades before retirement. Although I had never seen it before Bush took office during the last few years the born-agains would gather daily in one cubicle or another for Bible Study. We had an undefined half hour for lunch - these guys never finished up in anything less than an hour

Does this happen at your agency? Are other Government facilities frequently being used for Bible Study (or something with a similar name)?

Poll result (6 votes)
Yes, I see it frequently - my Agency is ... (3 votes, 50%)Vote
No, I work at ________ and I've never seen it. (3 votes, 50%)Vote

My colleagues do not have any such group, but there are religious groups on campus for student to meet for lunch.

I voted no, because I know of no prayer groups in the area of campus where I work.

(And, crap. I hope I didn't screw up your poll. I'm not a fed employee. I'm just working my way through sleepy eyes and my first cup of java. Please forgive me. :( )

prayer lunches are common among the people with whom i work. quite the prayerful group. they tend to flinch when ii point out to them that the continued presence of dick cheney on the earth is proof that there is no god.
