It's a FReeper thing. You'll burn out your brain trying to understand, but I'll give you an example:

Say a certain small group of people steals a pResidential election, ignores national security threats, begins a war (or two) of aggression then loots the treasury. Anyone who points fingers or calls for accountability is vindictive and mean. The only way to move beyond such things is to pretend they never happened and that it's really nobody's fault. It just is.
