Applying the standard of identity politics and pandering to a special interest that earned Mr. Clinton that distinction, Barack Hussein Obama would have to be considered America's first Muslim president.

I don't think it's true. I don't think Pres. Obama is Muslim, nor do I buy the idea that is he a Christian. But either way I don't care.

4. I remember the seventies

When our government was beating back a tide of cults led by charismatic hucksters. They managed to marginalize Rajneesh and the Krishnas (among others) but the Moonies (one of the richest) have became firmly entrenched on our shores, seemingly embraced by elements of our government.
