Hmmm, Condi and Smirky have the same bed time
Thankfully 'Idol' Is Over By Bedtime

"Quite frankly," she says, "I'm better in the morning than I am at 9 o'clock at night. And people who know me know that I go to bed at 9:30." Once back home, Rice planned to watch her fave show, American Idol, which-lucky for her-ends by then. (why she changed a middle east news conference from night time to the next morning)

(end snip)

Well, no effing wonder she shops for shoes and can't talk her way out of a paper bag. She lies 'cause she doesn't have a clue. Like her husband.

1. Is it just me?
How do people go to bed at 9:30?

4. That or getting up at 2:30 a.m. to start the day.
Personally, I'm lucky if I'm eating dinner by 9:30 p.m.

5. I use to
Edited on Wed Apr-04-07 08:09 PM by Possumpoint
go to bed at 9:30. I was transferred and had to do a one way commute of 52 miles. Part of that commute was on the Washington Beltway and Woodrow Wilson Bridge. I got up at 4:30 and left the house at 5 AM. This was done to avoid the traffic one way. Being the office manager there was no way I could ever leave in time to miss it coming back.

Took me several years after retirement to be able to stay up later. I usually fold at midnight now.

Criticizing someone about the time they go to be is an expression of ignorance of the other person's lifestyle.

7. The lifestyle in question is that of the people in Washington, DC.
How does a secretary of state go to bed at 9:30 when a dinner is usually scheduled for 8? How does anyone who is expected to host or attend dinners (as the president and secretary of state would be) have a bedtime of 9:30?

Also, how is it that such people, who are expected to serve the people of the United States, have so little work to do that they can go to bed so early?

You're right. I have an ignorance of the lifestyle of people who are supposed to be president and secretary of state, and manage to go to bed at 9:30 p.m., giving their personal needs/desires priority.

6. Her "fave" show?
What is this? Teen Beat? I can't believe a "serious" news organization like CBS would call something "fave."

How low the media has sunk.
