NV legislature overides Gibbon's veto of domestic partner rights

In a mostly party-line vote, the Nevada Assembly today joined the Senate in overriding Gov. Jim Gibbons' veto of Senate Bill 283, which gives domestic partners, both gay and straight, largely the same rights as married couples.
