Bush calls Clinton 'brother'
AP via Yahoo!:

Bush, Clinton appear on stage together in Canada
By ROB GILLIES, Associated Press Writer

TORONTO – Former President George W. Bush called ex-President Bill Clinton "his brother" and the two rarely disagreed in their first-ever appearance together on stage.

The Republican and Democratic ex-presidents defended each other at a Toronto forum on Friday, disappointing some in the crowd of 6,000 who expected a more heated debate.

Bush said that he never liked it when previous administration officials criticized his government but said Clinton was respectful and never did.

Bush declined to criticize the Obama administration, in contrast to former Vice President Dick Cheney, who has been a vocal critic of Obama. Bush, who wasn't asked about Cheney, said there are "plenty of critics in America."

Bush and Clinton did differ on Iraq. Clinton said U.N. inspectors should have been given more time to conduct the search for weapons of mass destruction and Bush should have concentrated on Afghanistan. Bush disagreed. ...........(more)

And WTF happened to Clintpn's bsckbone? Those assholes spent years blaming him, specificslly, for everyfuckingthing that was wrong with this country. They were blaming him for 9/11 by 9/12. He's been sucking up to daddy boosh for years now. Are we gonna have to watch him kiss jr's ass too?

15. and CIA drugrunning.......
who was president when 'officials' denied Gary Webb's investigative report into CIA drugrunning in 1996 and withheld documents that proved Webb right until a court case in 1998 made the document public? Not to mention the planted stories in the NYT and LATimes that smeared Webb as a fantasist for that report.

14. Baloney - Clinton HELPED Bush sell his invasion and defended it vigorously in 2004.
You may buy into Clinton's backtracking for his wife's primary race, but, those who care about accuracy won't let him get away with it.

22. Not surprising,
After all, with the largest record of deregulation up until Bushboy, Clinton set the stage up for this massive ripoff that we've experienced over the past eight years. I just wonder how big a cut Bill got?
