Which Party Is More Fractured - The Republicans or the Democrats?
I see huge lines of fissure on both sides of the aisle. The Republicans are cannabalizing themselves and are not able to consolidate their message because they are no longer in power. But the Democrats are finding it increasingly difficult to find common ground under President Obama.

Which party will implode first?

3. One's imploding, the other's exploding.
The Republicans are trying to drive themselves into irrelevancy and the Democrats are tearing themselves into pieces.

4. Too early to tell
The Republicans could wake up and decide to become moderate for the 2010 elections. The base will grudgingly go along to keep the Democrats from gaining more power.

Or they could stay extremist, but Obama could repeal DADT in early 2010. That would solidify the left.

Or both parties lose their extreme sides and we see some strong 3rd parties emerging. Just can't tell yet. A year from now, maybe.

5. Both
This is what happens when neither party is representing the people during hard times.

The GOP doesnt care, and the Democratic Party is pissing away any good will they might have had by ignoring the general public in their pursuit of increasing their campaign war chest.

8. Definitely the Republicans Party.
For the most part, the Democratic Party is united behind President Obama, as is the nation. While we have the angry left making a lot of noise, that's all it is. We have a small minority of malcontents who scream and shout every chance they get so to an outsider it might look like we are in trouble, but if you really pay attention to who's making the noise you'll see it's always the same people and they are always saying the same thing, they just do over and over and over again.

13. Dems are always fractured - I was amazed we got together to
elect Obama. I hope we can do it again.

Republicans seem to be out to destroy themselves, and are way beyond fractured well into psychotic.
