Online Tomorrow - FALLOUT: Coming Home from the War in Iraq
Beginning tomorrow "FALLOUT: Coming Home from the War in Iraq" will be available for online viewing at the film's website: http://www.iraqfallout.com

FALLOUT has also been accepted to the NewFilmmakers Summer Festival in New York City. I will have more details within the next few weeks. Thank you everyone for the encouragement and support. I learned a lot through making FALLOUT, my first full-length film. It's been a hard and long process, but it has been worth every moment and every penny.

9. I just finished watching the film....
and am totally impressed. :bounce:

These three soldiers provide a poignant element simply by accurately describing their experiences in Iraq. How the war affected them personally, and how their attitudes about the war changed over time was revealing. I've always known it's the low-level grunts who bear the biggest burden and suffer the most difficult psychic toll in war. I'm glad you gave them this platform to express themselves.


You have a gift, Ava. We've watched it develop over the past three years. Combined with your persistence (aka you're a stubborn little mofo :evilgrin: ), and lots of resourcefulness, you managed to pull off this ambitious enterprise. My hat is off to you and I'm certainly going to brag one day that I knew you when.... :hug:

The DiVX format is computer friendly and also plays on a great many DVD players. Copies could be burned to CD and widely distributed.

Additionally, it could be registered with the many torrent sites for mass download:

http://www.mininova.org

http://thepiratebay.org

and the number of eyes would increase exponentially.

Just sayin', 'cause I already know it's going to be worth watching three or five times.

right now there's a flash format up on the website. i'll be linking to a .mov format soon along with several others and am planning to package it for download too. thanks! :pals:
